Satya held his first SLR, the Zenit, at the age of 12. Ever since then, he developed an eye for photography. However, with digital photography in the boom, it was only in 2005 that he realized his true potential. He won his first exhibition entry by end of the year. He went on to win further honors in 2006.

In Dec 2006, Satya took up a massive challenge to travel 15 cities around India in 30 days. Upon his return, the photographs got instant recognition and landed as the cover page of PhotoVideoi May 07 issue. He has since traveled around the world and has been recognized for his achievements.

Satya has always loved capturing human expressions. Vivid and moving, he has honed his ability to capture the essence of the moment.
